Amsterdam Travel Guide: My Favorite Spots in Amsterdam

During Thanksgiving of 2022 I was lucky enough to travel to Amsterdam, my second favorite city in the world (right after London of course!) Everything about this vibrant city makes me never want to leave the minute I arrive - the people, the nightlife, the clean streets, and obviously, the Dutch culture.
While there is a huge variety of things to do in Amsterdam, my favorite was watching the World Cup. I went to a great pub called Myrabelle. I was not wearing orange (the American accent did not help), and watched as the Netherlands defeated the United States, so I became an honorary Dutch for the evening.
No visit to Amsterdam would be complete without sampling the nightlife. If you are an unrepentant party lover, then the next stop for your 'partying cruise' should be the good old city of Amsterdam. You will find squares, bars, clubs, and speakeasies all over the city.
We stopped over at the Happy Pig, the city's best breakfast restaurant. It basically has the best pancakes in Amsterdam and is the home of the original Dutch pancake. This restaurant is a "must" if you are able to travel to Amsterdam.
