Sushi Sam Restaurant in Dallas

Sushi Sam, located in the heart of Southlake, Texas, is an east-Asian-inspired, family style restaurant. We went for dinner after a long day of school and work and I ordered the New York roll and miso soup. The whole restaurant is set up as an intimate “hole-in-the-wall” style sushi restaurant with Japanese curtains at every threshold, little bonsai tree centerpieces at every table, traditional art on the walls, and a very friendly set of staff.

A few days later I went back with my friends for dinner and we got gyoza, tuna towers with soup, and fried rice and noodles to share together. This place became my usual for Japanese cuisine.
